I recently stayed at a guesthouse in the heart of the city and I must say that the cleanliness of the place was top-notch, with a well-equipped kitchen and the added bonus of a coffee machine. Although the location was central, the area seemed quite unpleasant, with lots of grafittis on the walls and rubbish strewn about. Another drawback was the temperature in the apartment.

The area surrounding the apartment wasn't very pleasant as there were a lot of graffiti and rubbish on the streets. We didn't feel too safe at night, and that put a damper on our romantic escape.
